Unbelievable....
Thanks for your recent
e-mails regarding Jeremy Vine.
With regards to Jeremy’s usage of
Twitter, the BBC is comfortable that he can manage his time effectively. The BBC
wishes to encourage interactivity on all platforms and we are aware of
compliance issues and as media evolves we are looking at how we use that
interactivity.
With regards to his recent tweet, what was published was
the script from the opening of the programme, as read on air, so it was in the
public domain and there is no conflict with Twitter. It was a question designed
to initiate discussion and was written by the producer in the context of the
history of the Chief of Staff of the IRA. The BBC is quite comfortable that it
was acceptable.
I trust this explains the BBC’s view on your complaints
and thanks again for taking the time to contact the BBC.
Yours
Sincerely
Axxxxx Mxxxxx

BBC Complaints
Welcome to my blog! I listen to Radio 2 all day but I absolutely hate The Jeremy Vine Show. On most days I send Jeremy an email explaining why his show is irrelevant to me and why I will not be listening. This blog is a record of those emails, which I hope you will enjoy. IMPORTANT NOTE : I do not hate Jeremy Vine, only his radio show. My communications with him have always been respectful of each other's viewpoint, and I thank him for that.

Indeed, unbelievable. I suppose as JV only pushes a few buttons and reads a prepared script then he can manage his time. Maybe the BBC should sack his producer
The only good thing I have to say about JV show is they play some good music at times.Very Doubtful JV picks it as his music knowledge is far below that of Ken's.
So I can say JV is an incompotent Tosser paid too much&although it may not be proved in court then it is intended to invoke discussion;-)
If u didnt hear Thurs Ken's bit then funny!
